Safilo and Marc Jacobs renew global eyewear licensing agreement

It extends the partnership for Marc Jacobs branded eyewear until December 2031.

Safilo Group has announced the early renewal of its global licensing agreement with Marc Jacobs.

The renewed agreement extends the partnership for Marc Jacobs branded eyewear until December 2031.

Angelo Trocchia, CEO of the Safilo Group, said the partnership, which began in 2004, has been successful in establishing Marc Jacobs as a key player in the eyewear market.

"During these 20 years the brand has grown to become one of the most emblematic brands of Safilo's contemporary and premium offering, with a strong global appeal for both men and women, and with still many new opportunities for growth in its core US market as well as worldwide,” he said.
